FabFitFun has been on my radar for a while. After recently trying Causebox and loving it, I wanted to give you all another subscription box review.

What is FabFitFun?
FabFitFun is a seasonal subscription box that is curated based on your personal tastes and preferences.
When you sign up for FabFitFun, they first have you take a little survey to see what types of products you are and are not interested in when it comes to a variety of product categories. You can see what I selected below so you can get an idea of what they may ask you!
After you fill out your preferences, you can just sit back and relax. That is until customization opens up, so make sure you keep an eye out for that. Yes, it’s true, you get to customize some of the products that are in your box! You can read more about that in this section of the article.
How Many Items Do You Get In Your FabFitFun Box?
Every season you get 8 full size items in your FabFitFun box. You won’t receive any of that sample size nonsense with this subscription box! That’s really one of the reasons why I was initially sold on FabFitFun.
Every box you get is worth over $200 which is amazing. So it’s definitely worth the price if you end up deciding to order yourself a box!
When you sign up for FabFitFun, you also have to option to shop add-ons at deeply discounted prices. There are a bunch of add-on options but I chose not to shop since it was my first time around.
How Often Do You Get FabFitFun Boxes?
FabFitFun boxes are sent seasonally, meaning you get them 4 times a year during each season. That means 4 times a year you get an awesome box full of surprise (and some not surprise) goodies!
From what I see, each box has items semi-tailored to that season, so you’ll always have some great stuff to look forward to.
The Items I Received In My FabFitFun Box
Overall I was super happy with the items in my box. Here’s everything I received in no particular order.
Alice + Olivia Daisy Print Duffel Bag
I won’t lie. Besides wanting to write this article for your peeps, of course, I desperately wanted to try FabFitFun for this bag. Because HOW CUTE! When I saw this I instantly fell in love and knew I had to have it. I even set a reminder in my phone for when customization opened; I was there the second it opened up to make sure it wouldn’t sell it.
Fun fact: it didn’t sell out because my roommate was able to get it a few weeks later. I’m neurotic, I know.
ANYWHO, I’m absolutely obsessed with this bag. It’s a perfect size, not too big and not too small. I’ve also used it a few times when sleeping over at my sister’s house. It’s perfect for spending the night at someone’s house or even using it as a gym bag. The quality is top-notch and I’m so happy to have received this amazing duffle bag.

Joy Dravecky Chloe Ring
This is another item that I chose through the customization process. To be honest, I really didn’t want this product but out of the other options I had (which I don’t remember), it was the best one.
When I received this item, I was pleasantly surprised! It’s super cute and the quality is pretty nice. It’s also adjustable so I can essentially put it on any finger of my choosing. It is a little big and gaudy for my taste, but overall I do really think it’s cute! It’ll be a cute ring to accessorize my outfit when going out with friends or grabbing some dinner. Regardless, I do like this ring.

Gaiam Ultimate Core Toning Kit
This is the last item I was able to choose through customization. This is a toning kit with a little ball that I didn’t blow up yet (lol). I thought this would be a great little kit to have when I want to work out or do some stretches in my apartment. I’m someone who usually likes to go to spin classes but I do want to try some other forms of exercise so I thought this was a good start!
I’m really excited to give this a try and see how it works. I think it’ll definitely help motivate me to workout at home when I’m unable to get to the gym.

Lark & Ive Hair Scarf Bundle
This was one of the items that I was so surprised and happy to see! I’ve started sporting hair scarves last summer and have incorporated them throughout my hairstyles ever since. I was so pleasantly surprised to see there were two hair scarves in this bundle. I love the colors, especially the neutral tone one which will look great with a bunch of different outfits!
What shocked me the most about these hair scarves was the quality. They are super soft and don’t feel cheap at all. This was 100% one of my favorite items that I received and I can’t wait to wear them.

Camp Collection Dip Dye Market Tote
Another cute item that I was super happy to see this tote bag in my FabFitFun box! I’m such a sucker for reusable bags and think this is perfect to use when running to the drugstore or to the bodega to grab a few things. Will I use this as a part of my reusable stash during my Trader Joe’s trips? Nah, it’s definitely too small. But for light, little trips it’s perfect.
But I have to say I’d probably like it better if it was a solid fabric. I just feel weird running around NYC with everyone seeing what’s in my bag but it’s not the biggest deal. As I said, this will be used for quick trips out of the apartment. I would also never pay $25 for this bag, so I’m happy I was able to get it in this box.

Each Jewels Flower Hair Clip
I think I screamed when I saw these. For me, owning cue hair accessories brings me so much joy and these hair clips are no exception. I love the little flowers on them! They were also made in NYC which is super special to me (if you don’t know, that’s where I live!)
I really don’t have much to say about these other than I love them so so much and can’t wait to wear them during this summer with a cute dress.

Saie Resuable Beauty Rounds
OMG, I was so excited to see these in my box! They are reusable makeup remover pads that you can use without water. Yup! How cool is that? I love that they are sustainable and reusable. They are also super soft and actually huge, which is nice so they can cover more surface area.
The way I usually take off my makeup is simply with my face wash. So I’m not sure if I want to use these for makeup removal because I already have a system that works for me. However, I’ll give them a try to see if they’re life-changing for any reason and will continue to use them if they are!

Pink Sky Cactus Sipper Cup
This is the one thing I received in my FabFitFun box that I didn’t care for. It’s like..when would I ever use this. It’s a weird shape (duh…it’s a cactus) so it would fit awkwardly into my cupboards which are already way too full. I do like the color though!
I ended up giving this to my almost 2-year-old nephew because I thought it was cute and he would like to drink out of it. And he loved it! Woo (also ignore the different background for this pic, I forgot to bring it when I was shooting the first time, oops!)

What Is The Difference Between Seasonal and Annual FabFitFun Boxes?
The seasonal FabFitFun box comes with 8 products and you are able to customize 3 of those products. You also have the option to cancel anytime.
The annual FabFitFun box comes with 8 products, which you are able to customize 5 instead of 3. You get early access to customize along with early access to add-ons/edit sales. You also get earlier shipping and can cancel anytime.
If you’re a slightly impatient and picky person, the annual subscription will likely be better for you. But if you’re willing to have a couple of surprises and wait for shipping, then definitely give the seasonal subscription a try.
Which Is Better Causebox or FabFitFun?
This is part of the reason I wanted to test out FabFitFun. If you haven’t read my Causebox article, definitely take a read if you’re debating between the two.
Causebox is great for people who truly value sustainability and are looking for products tailored more towards home and daily life. FabFitFun seems to be tailored more towards beauty and personal care.
With Causebox, you get 6-8 products and you pay either $54.95 per quarter or $199.80 annually. After reviewing Causebox I decided to go with the annual subscription, so I’m excited to see what I get next. Here’s a discount for you if you decide to try Causebox!
With FabFitFun you get 8 products and you pay either $49.99 per quarter or $179.99 annually.
So with FabFitFun, you get the chance to receive 8 products instead of potentially 6 products (remember Causebox sends 6-8).
If you’ve read any of my other articles about sustainability, you know that ethical products come at a cost. No matter what. I think both are worth the price and you need to decide which one you like the best.
I ended up liking both so much that I signed up for the annual subscription for each. No regrets!
Can You Skip Months On FabFitFun?
You can skip months on FabFitFun with some exceptions. For annual members, you are allowed to skip your boxes once and seasonal members have the option to skip once every four boxes, which to me, feels like the exact same thing.
From what I’m understanding, you still get charged for your box and you will receive a $45 credit. Which makes sense but to be honest, I did the research and still don’t really understand how it works. You can click here to read more about skipping your box. Is It Easy To Cancel FabFitFun?
Yes, it’s incredibly easy to cancel FabFitFun. I canceled my seasonal subscription before I decided to sign up for an annual subscription. It was easy and you can do it directly on the website. No need to call or anything! Plus, you can just as easily reactivate your account if you change your mind.
Is FabFitFun worth it?
100%. For the amount of cute stuff you get in your box, I was so pleasantly surprised with the items I received. I got a bunch of different items tailored to my individual taste and with the exception of the cactus cup, I will most definitely put all of these to use.
